God does not see you threw the eyes of a sinful man, nor threw the eyes of a harsh dictator… He sees you just as though you were Jesus Christ… That is how redeemed Jesus’ blood has made us and washed us clean! How does Jesus see us? How would any good, let alone perfect Groom see His beloved Bride coming down the isle? Perfect. Our tainted love doesn’t matter that much; but the fact that He loved us matters the most! When Satan comes and says “look at this imperfection” Jesus says “Which one? I don’t see it”. We are that redeemed. We are children of God! We belong to Christ. We are like Him; even when we choose not to walk like He walks. Jesus’ sacrifice was enough for us...
Don’t you see? It’s not about us. It has little to do with us at all. We choose to accept and believe on Christ Jesus, and Jesus does the rest! We don’t need to try and please God, as if we aren’t, we, as His children are all that God wants. Though we sin, that has no effect on whom, and who’s we are… Walk in the Truth about who you are, and who God is in relation to you. Once you trust God with you identity everything begins to change; suddenly, as you put down your old identity – the identity that man and Satan said you were - you sin goes off with it. The hardness of you heart begins to fall off, and we become weak, weak, so that God can be strong in us! We become vulnerable, weakened by His love, to the point that we lay down our lives in total surrender to His will for our lives… we begin to see how much we need Him, which makes us fall in love with Him all the more.
You see, it’s His love, His perfect untainted love for us that makes us fall in love for Him. The fact that He loves someone who is covered in filth, even to get down on their level and clean them… that kind of love makes us just fall in love with Him! We need to step back, and let God be God! Would you do that? Would you just take your hands off of it, step back and say “you’re in control, Lord!” Then just allow Him to first show you who He is, and then who you are in relation to Him! And what you’ll find out is that He is so near you, and that you as His child gain everything you are from Him. So Jehovah God, made you like Himself… Out form God, came us… and you’ll find that more than anything, God just wants to hold you, and sing His love songs over you… if you’ll just let Him!
