"No One Wanted Me"
The most felt statement in all the earth. So many fatherless children, so many who needed more attention than their parents could give them. It seems like the chant of the whole earth is a desperate cry for something we so desperately need… love.
Please give me just a few moments of your time, while I try to explain something that was revealed from Daddy’s heart to mine, you may not understand at first… please continue reading anyway. Thank you!
It seems like in life, you always get the wrong end of something sour. It seems like whatever you absolutely did not want, that’s the thing you get a double portion of. The hurt, or grieving of something coming to an end in your life or the death of a friend… where a promise seems to be broken, when the ones who you love most— hurt you the worst, the times when literally everything you wanted in life came crashing in on top of you, and in a moment, your outlook on life changes, your devastated, and not only does all seem lost, but it all seems hopeless as well. Maybe you just got a divorce, or your child died. Maybe all that you saw in vision for the future has seemingly failed; and nothing seems to work right. If you can relate to what I’m saying, in anyway, don’t just keep reading, know that there must be some sort of testimony behind this story; that I may, or may not tell today.
Everything in your life has seemed to be going right… or somewhat smoothly anyway, until something happened, or a possibly long series of events caused you to question everything. You and I know the scripture pretty well, if we’ve been in church much, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28), this does not seem true, does it? Well, let me tell you… I’ve been where I did not know if tomorrow would be tolerable, and today, I’m still here.
Once all this mess is put in your pot, boiled down, stirred up, shaken together, and tossed into a bowl, how could it ever be good? Or even desirable at all? How could the mess of your life ever be called of value again? Believe me, there is hope!
We must come to the great realization that the value of something, or someone, is in how much someone else is willing to pay for it. It may seem like no one would pay a dime for you to live another day, but Jesus Christ, the King and maker of all things held you at such high value, as to come, be beaten, until He was unrecognizable, have spikes pounded through His wrists and His feet, bleed and suffer, undeservingly die, go to the very pit of hell and defeat it, and raise back to life, for you. So, the high price, not payable by anyone else but God, put by God on your life, is the price of the life of the first Son of God, who did no wrong, yet took your sin, and suffered for you, so that you may have life.
He even loves you enough to make it your choice, to let you choose, heaven of hell, life or endless pain and agony. He loves you, and wanted you so much! He had you born for a reason, for a time, in a season, and though it seems like God has some play in this suffering you’re facing or in, please know His only desire is for you is to prosper, not to punish you or to hurt you. But to take the ugly ashes we call life, and turn them into the most beautiful work ever created! He will take the brokenness, the hurt, the aloneness of your life, and shape it into something beautiful, and He’ll even use the thing that you now see is to destroy you, to build you up. God wants to use, what Satan threw at you, to help you rely solely, completely, and hopelessly other-wise, on Him, for He loves you more than you could ever know! He is most powerful, He is Lord! And think about this, the Lord of all creation, the single most powerful person in all that is, was, or is to come, loves you enough to leave ninety-nine on a hill to come and find you. His love for us is so wonderful, taking our shame and sin, our complete desperation, and molding it, in love, into the most beautiful bride, that He will one day take to heaven, for the wedding supper! Please know that these hurdles will only make you strong. This swimming that seems to be set on drowning you, will only condition you! And the pain will only bring healing! The hopelessness will only bring dependency on Christ.
What seems to be for your dismay, will one day, be for your advantage.
God has never desired to hurt you. Know that "this" to shall pass. And when it’s all cleared and settled, when you can see past the sorrow and hurt—you’ll see victory! God will never let you go.
