Expect The Impossible!
God impressed these wonderful words in my spirit a few weeks ago - "Ask for the impossible, believe the impossible, receive the impossible and then watch as I perform it before your very eyes!!!" Now this sound like something to shout about!! If I'm told to expect the impossible, then God must want to do the impossible - and when God does the impossible it's something that we would have thought could never happen in the human realm. Jesus said to His disciples, "truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. " (Matthew 17:20)
In Matthew 19:26 Jesus said "...with God all things are possible." and then in Luke the Bible says, "...with God nothing shall be impossible." (1:37) for "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." (Luke 18:27) God desires to do the impossible in every person's life, "only believe"! Perhaps it's physical, or maybe physiological, maybe financial, or in a relationship... if we not only ask and believe, but then receive and expect God's promises and provision in our lives day by day, we can see the impossible preformed in our lives on an ongoing, day by day basis. Perhaps, we should wake up just looking for the impossible in our lives. What might happen if we started asking for, and trusting God for the impossible in our lives everyday? We just might see miracles as an everyday part of our lives. God wants us to walk in the since of knowing the impossible! Start asking for it; start believing for it, start receiving it, and then walk in the humanly impossible, as God provides with what is to Him, ordinary.
Jesus walked in the impossible. Look at the story in Mark 21, where Jesus is walking an find a fig tree, "And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away." (V. 19) When the disciples passed by it later, it was completely withered away, and they asked "How did the fig tree wither all at once?“ (Matt. 21:20) but "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen." Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father." (John 14:7)We can have the impossible in our lives, here and now!
So, what about you, will you trust God and freely receive what He has freely made available? Will you receive the impossible? I hope you do.
